Hey everyone! Today I came to chat a little bit about fashion and give some style hacks while traveling. I know how hard packing can be if you are not familiar with the city you’ll be visiting. I’ve already talked about how challenging it was for me to get dressed here in San Francisco. As most people think, I thought as well that SF was a sunny city just because it’s located in California, but I was so wrong.
After spending a lot of time thinking about what to bring and deciding the best clothes to put in my luggage, the worst thing that could happen was arriving and having a wardrobe mishap due to a red wine stains, broken zippers or even inconvenient wrinkles. Without further ado, here are some friendly hacks to be prepared in any occasion while traveling.
YAY! Helpful, isn't it? I still have one more gold tip for your trip be even better: I came across Betabrand while walking on Valencia Street and I must tell they have the comfiest pants to travel. My favorite section is their Travel and Cargo pants. Besides all the comfort, they don't get wrinkled and they look so good that I can totally travel with them and then go to a work meeting. All I need to do is change my sneakers for a high heels and that´s it, haha!
Hope I helped. Have a great trip you all! ✈️ 🌎
I've been more wise when it comes to shopping or maybe I just changed my style and I am choosing better what to buy. What can I say, I am a Gemini person and I truly believe that I have more than one woman inside of me. Somedays I like to dress up more sexy, others more childish. Sometimes just a legging and a sweatshirt makes my day but lately I have been crazy about minimal clothing.
Black, gray, white and nude colors is filling up my closet more and more. Although I still love to pop out my style with some neon colors in my shoes, purses or sunglasses.
This was my outfit for my birthday day. A gray set of turtleneck tunic with flare pants. Very minimal combined with some nice geometric golden accessories, a modern seventies.
On my birthday I received an amazing gift: Two tickets to see the retrospective to one of the most beloved and influential fashion icons of our time. If you have a little interest into fashion, I don't need to write about Oscar de la Renta, you probably know him already.
The exhibition was marvelous! About 130 ensembles produced over five decades were shown. Unfortunately the retrospective already ended here in San Francisco but if this is going to your city you must go, trust me.
It was hard to pick my favorite ones, his work is incredible and has so many details that I saw with my own eyes and couldn't quite believe it was real. I'm still learning how to take pictures in dark places with my new camera but even if I was the best photographer in town, one picture wouldn't say how punctilious his pieces actually are.
And I have to say that I am a big fan of Taylor Swift - haters gonna hate - so I was already amazed by the exhibition and seeing the pink dress she wore on The Met Gala for sure was a big moment for me! 👗
